The NerdQaxe++ Rev6.1 is a compact and efficient open-source Bitcoin miner designed for home users, developers and crypto enthusiasts. This air-cooled version delivers impressive SHA-256 mining performance in a compact desktop form factor, making it ideal for users who want serious mining capability without the size, noise and power requirements of industrial ASIC miners.

Powered by 4 × Bitmain BM1370 ASIC chips, from the same generation of ASIC technology used in the Antminer S21 Pro, the NerdQaxe++ Rev6.1 provides excellent performance and efficiency for a home-scale miner.

At standard settings, the miner delivers approximately 4.82 TH/s at around 70W, while higher-performance settings can achieve up to approximately 6 TH/s at around 100–103W, depending on configuration, ambient temperature and individual ASIC performance.

Enhanced Air Cooling with Dedicated VR Cooling Fan

This eHasher configuration features an additional dedicated VR (Voltage Regulator) cooling fan mounted above the main front cooling fan. This directs additional airflow across the voltage regulation components and has demonstrated significantly improved VR temperatures during our testing.

The complete cooling system includes:

• Large Primary Cooling Fan – provides airflow through the main heatsink
• Dedicated VR Cooling Fan – provides additional airflow across the voltage regulation components
• Rear Cooling Fan – assists airflow through the rear of the miner
• Spring-Mounted Heatsink – helps maintain consistent contact and thermal transfer
• PSU Cooling Fan – the supplied power supply features its own integrated cooling fan

Together, these provide strong airflow across both the ASIC and voltage regulation components, helping maintain stable operating temperatures, particularly when running the miner at higher performance settings.

The Rev6.1 design also features a 1oz thickened copper PCB and improved power layout, helping improve thermal performance and overall system stability.

Inline Fuse Protection

Unlike some previous revisions, the NerdQaxe++ Rev6.1 does not use an onboard fuse. Instead, fuse protection is provided by an inline fuse fitted to the power feed supplying the miner, as shown in the product photographs.

Bitcoin & SHA-256 Mining

Using the SHA-256 algorithm, the NerdQaxe++ is compatible with Bitcoin (BTC) and other SHA-256 cryptocurrencies. It is particularly suited to solo mining, experimentation, development and home mining applications.

Its compact size and relatively low power consumption make it an excellent way to experience genuine multi-ASIC Bitcoin mining without the electrical and cooling requirements associated with industrial miners.

Wi-Fi & Web-Based Management

Built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi allows quick configuration and monitoring through the miner's web-based interface. Mining pools, operating parameters and other settings can be managed directly through your web browser.

As part of the open-source mining ecosystem, the NerdQaxe++ Rev6.1 also benefits from community-developed firmware, monitoring and configuration options.

Built-In 1.9" LilyGO Colour Display

A built-in 1.9" LilyGO colour LCD display provides useful real-time information directly on the miner, including hashrate, miner status and system performance.

Adjustable Performance

The NerdQaxe++ allows experienced users to adjust operating frequency and core voltage to balance hashrate, power consumption, temperature and noise.

Higher-performance settings can achieve approximately 6 TH/s, although actual results can vary between individual miners and according to ambient temperature and cooling conditions.

Important: When adjusting performance settings, ASIC and Voltage Regulator temperatures should always be carefully monitored. For this configuration, settings should not exceed 775 MHz frequency or 1180 mV core voltage. Full operating guidance is supplied with the miner.
