iX-Tech NerdQaxe++ / QAxe+ Hydro VREG Active Cooling Kit – 12V PWM

The iX-Tech NerdQaxe++ / QAxe+ Hydro VREG Active Cooling Kit is a purpose-built cooling upgrade designed to provide dedicated airflow to the voltage regulator area of compatible water-cooled Nerdaxe QAxe miners.

When converting a miner from conventional air cooling to an AIO / Hydro cooling system, the ASIC chips benefit from direct liquid cooling. However, removing the original ASIC cooling fan can also significantly reduce the airflow that would normally pass across the surrounding power-delivery components, including the voltage regulators.

The iX-Tech Hydro VREG Cooling Kit addresses this by positioning a dedicated 12V 4020 PWM fan directly over the VREG section of the miner. This provides focused active airflow to the voltage regulator area, helping to maintain more consistent operating temperatures and reduce the risk of thermal throttling during continuous operation.

The custom-designed iX-Tech mounting system securely positions the cooling fan over the power-delivery components while providing a neat and tidy installation specifically suited to Hydro-cooled configurations.
