The Bitaxe Gamma 601 with iX-Tech El-Mirage Copper Heatsink is an upgraded, compact and highly efficient open-source Bitcoin miner designed for home users, hobbyists and solo mining enthusiasts who want genuine ASIC mining hardware without the noise, heat and substantial power consumption of industrial miners.

Delivering approximately 1.07–1.2 TH/s of SHA-256 mining performance while consuming around 18W, the Bitaxe Gamma 601 provides impressive performance and efficiency from a single ASIC chip in a compact desktop form factor.

At the heart of the Gamma 601 is a Bitmain BM1370 ASIC chip, from the same ASIC generation used in the Bitmain Antminer S21 Pro. Combined with the open-source Bitaxe platform and AxeOS firmware, the BM1370 provides excellent efficiency while giving enthusiasts extensive monitoring and configuration options.

Premium iX-Tech El-Mirage Copper Cooling Upgrade

This upgraded eHasher model is fitted with the premium iX-Tech El-Mirage Copper Heatsink, paired with a 5V 4020 PWM cooling fan to provide excellent cooling for the BM1370 ASIC.

The El-Mirage uses a secure four-point mounting system rather than the more conventional two-point heatsink arrangement. This helps maintain consistent contact between the heatsink and ASIC, reducing the possibility of heatsink tilt, uneven contact and localised hot spots.

The copper cooling surface provides excellent thermal transfer away from the ASIC, helping maintain stable operating temperatures and providing additional thermal headroom for users who wish to experiment with performance tuning and overclocking through AxeOS.

Easy WiFi Setup & AxeOS Management

The Bitaxe Gamma 601 features built-in 2.4 GHz WiFi connectivity powered by an ESP32-S3-WROOM-1 microcontroller, allowing straightforward wireless setup without requiring an Ethernet connection.

Once connected to your network, the AxeOS web interface allows you to configure your mining pool, monitor hashrate and temperatures, view operating statistics and adjust miner settings directly from a web browser.

Built-In OLED Display

A built-in 0.91" SSD1306 OLED I2C display provides useful real-time information directly on the miner, including hashrate, temperature and device status, allowing performance to be monitored at a glance.

Open-Source Bitcoin Mining

As part of the fully open-source Bitaxe ecosystem, the Gamma 601 benefits from active community development, firmware improvements and extensive customisation possibilities.
